So this is the new year?

What a year 2008 has been! As Charles Dickens would say, "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times..." Here's looking back to the crazy, eventful year and looking forward to what 2009 will bring.

Goodbye, 2008

• My ever-growing friendships
• Faculty performing in Alice in Wonderland [It's a tradition at my college that only happens once every 4 years]
• My first InterVarsity Emmaus [now called 'Spring Conference'] in Myrtle Beach
  
• Rebuilding houses in New Orleans over Spring Break
• Surviving my first year of college
  
• My first InterVarsity Rockbridge
  
• New job with wonderful co-workers
• New [used] car
  
• My first "real" concerts: Maroon 5 and Jack Johnson
• Cornhuskin' [another college tradition]
• Being on Evangelism Team in my IV chapter
• The passing of my grandmother [bittersweet]
